#85 Paul Macdonell

Paul Macdonell is a Pro Superbike athlete based in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Paul started competing in 2019 with the Edmonton Motorcycle Racing Association (EMRA), and in 2021 he won the EMRA Intermediate & Open Superbike Championships and the Sean Henderson Award for Most Outstanding Racer.

In 2022, Paul had the honour of receiving the David Presiloski Award. Voted by fellow EMRA members, this award recognizes a member of the racing community who:

“gets along with everyone, visits in the pits, gives a helping hand when in need, enjoys what they are doing, and puts their differences to the side when needed.”

2023 CSBK National Series

In 2023, Paul was ready to take the next step in his career and competed in the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) as #785 in the Pro Superbike class.

Paul had a successful Rookie year and the CSBK took notice:

  • Third place CSBK Rookie of the Year

  • 2023 CSBK Team of the Year

  • Started & completed every race in the series

2024 will be a fresh beginning for Paul as he launches the new Paul Macdonell Racing Team based out of Grande Prairie/Edmonton. Paul will join the BMW Motorrad family and will now compete on a BMW S1000RR.

Revs 4 Rett is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and their families impacted by Rett Syndrome. We exist to engage in advocacy, education and awareness efforts, and raise funds to support the search for a cure.

Revs 4 Rett is a volunteer driven organization, consisting of family members and supporters whose lives are touched by Rett Syndrome. We are affiliated with the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association, a non profit organization.
